About this course
A collaborative filmmaking intensive that takes a project from initial concept to finished screening. Participants work across story development, visual design, shot planning, generation and post-production, alongside consideration of copyright, permissions and responsible AI practice.
Who this is for
For people with an understanding of filmmaking who want hands-on experience with AI-assisted production. Prior AI image or video generation experience is not required.
What you will learn
- Structure a project and organise a workable AI-assisted production process.
- Develop coherent characters, story worlds and visual styles.
- Produce visual references, keyframes, storyboards and shot plans.
- Create motion, dialogue and sound with appropriate AI workflows.
- Edit and finish a complete short film for screening.
- Consider copyright, consent, likeness and transparency in production.

- Bring your own laptop.
- Comfort using a computer for creative work is expected.
